Welcome to HumAIn Core, an AI companion application operated by HumAIn Core Studios Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the HumAIn Core mobile app, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
HumAIn Core provides interactive conversational experiences with multiple AI personalities (“humAIns”). Users may exchange text, images, and voice messages with humAIns and use optional personalisation features such as “Memories” and the “Whiteboard”. The Service provides companionship, entertainment, creativity, and productivity tools.
Important Disclaimer: The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. It must not be used for emergencies or crisis support. If you are in danger or crisis, contact local emergency services immediately.
AI-Generated Content Notice: humAIn profile images, voices, and messages produced by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence. Any similarity to any real person (living or deceased), voice, likeness, or work is coincidental.
To use the Service, you must: • be at least 16 years old • provide truthful registration information, • accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and • reside in a region where our Service is legally offered. We may terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
To create an account, you must provide: email address, password, date of birth (for age verification), and preferred display name.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, all activities under your account, and informing us immediately of unauthorised access.
HumAIn Core may offer a free trial and/or subscription plans via Apple or Google in-app purchase. All billing, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Apple/Google’s rules. We do not directly process or store payment card information.
Important: Deleting your HumAIn Core account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges, you must manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
You agree not to engage in unlawful activity, harass or abuse others, or upload harmful, discriminatory, or abusive content.
Restricted content: You must not generate or request sexually explicit content (including AI characters), content involving minors, self-harm instructions, medical/therapeutic/legal/financial advice as a substitute for professionals, misinformation, instructions for harmful or dangerous activities, attempts to bypass AI safety systems, or malware/viruses.
System misuse: Do not reverse-engineer the Service, scrape data, impersonate HumAIn Core, circumvent access controls, or interfere with infrastructure.
Rights and consents for uploads: You must have the legal right and necessary permissions/consents to upload any content you submit (including images or audio featuring other people). Do not upload content that violates another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights.
We follow a three-strike system, but may suspend or terminate accounts immediately in serious cases.
The HumAIns are artificial intelligence systems and may generate inaccurate, fictional, incomplete, or biased content. The Service does not provide professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, mental health, therapeutic, legal, or financial decisions.
You are responsible for how you use the Service and for verifying information from reliable sources where appropriate.
Ownership: You retain ownership of all text, images, voice notes, and other content you upload (“User Content”).
Licence: You grant us a non-exclusive, revocable licence to process User Content solely for providing and improving the Service, including powering humAIn responses, personalisation features (including Memories and Whiteboard), voice/image processing, analytics (if enabled), diagnostics (if enabled), and safety systems.
Memories and Whiteboard controls: You can delete Memories and Whiteboard items within the app. Whiteboard items are only added when you explicitly ask. Memories may be saved by you and, depending on settings/feature behaviour, may also be suggested or saved to help improve continuity. You remain in control and can delete them at any time.
Feedback & Suggestions: If you submit feedback, feature requests, or product ideas, we may contact you about your suggestion and may use it to improve the Service. You are not entitled to compensation, and you grant us a licence to develop it.
We do not sell your personal data.
We may use third-party providers to operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, AI processing, push notifications, analytics, and diagnostics), as described in our Privacy Policy.
Analytics and diagnostics are optional features that you can enable or disable in the app’s Privacy Preferences. If you do not enable them, we do not send analytics or diagnostics data to those providers (other than what is strictly necessary for delivering the Service).
HumAIn Core Studios Limited owns the company name, logo, “HumAIn Core” brand, all humAIn characters, designs, styles, and personalities, plus all app software, UI, graphics, audio, and code.
Users may not copy or redistribute our materials, use our trademarks without permission, create derivative works, or exploit the Service commercially.'
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time.
'User-initiated deletion: When you request account deletion, we delete your in-app content (including chats and associated media stored by us) and remove your account access. You may be signed out as part of this process.
Third-party analytics/diagnostics identifiers: Where you have enabled optional analytics (Mixpanel) and/or diagnostics (Sentry), we delete or anonymize identifiers associated with your account within 30 days of your deletion request. We also request deletion with relevant providers within that timeframe; completion times may vary depending on the provider’s processes.
Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. You must cancel via Apple/Google.
Deletion is irreversible: Once your account and data are deleted, we may not be able to restore them.
Some processing occurs outside the UK (for example, AI providers and infrastructure partners). Where required, transfers use approved mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA).
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for reliance on AI outputs. Our total liability is limited to amounts paid in the prior 12 months (or ÂŁ0 for free users).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes will be handled exclusively by the English courts.
We may update these Terms. You will be notified of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance.
